What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, click here pricing, and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
